There is very little time left until “Ultimo 2026 – The fairy tale forever”, the concert that on Saturday 4 July will transform the Roman esplanade of Tor Vergata into the largest live event ever organized in Italy. In front of around 250,000 spectators, Niccolò Moriconi alias Ultimo is ready to put on a show destined to go down in the history of national live music, with an expected duration of around three and a half hours.
Maximum confidentiality about the official lineup, but the evidence listened to by the fans, who have been camped out for days in the concert area, and the rumors that have emerged in the last few hours already allow us to outline the evening's repertoire with good approximation. Ultimo will bring “Ultimo 2026 – The fairytale forever” to the greater Roman area, the show awaited by 250,000 spectators and destined to establish the record for the concert with the highest number of tickets sold in Italy.
Numerous songs emerged from the rehearsals, including great hits, historical pieces, acoustic moments and songs taken from the new album “Il giorno chespetti”, released on 19 June.
According to reconstructions, the show could last around three and a half hours and take the form of a journey through Niccolò Moriconi's entire discography. A clue also comes from the division of the Pits, entitled to the artist's albums: “Planeti”, “Peter Pan”, “Colpa delle Favole”, “Solo”, “Alba” and “Altrove”. A choice that seems to suggest a path through the different phases of his career.
Among the most anticipated songs are “Acquario”, “Io non so” and “Ci cielo ditti tutto”, together with songs now central to Ultimo's repertoire such as “Il Ballo delle Incertencia”, “I Tui Particulari”, “Pianeti”, “Piccola Stella”, “Colpa delle favole”, “Solo”, “Sogni appesi”, “Buongiorno vita” and “Rondini al guinzaglio”.
The public will also be an active part of the show through a fan action organized for “Aquarius”: the communities have invited spectators to wear green alien glasses during the performance of the song, recalling the imagery of the video clip.
On the guest front, the announced presence is that of Fabrizio Moro, who will perform before entering the Ultimo stage. The Roman singer-songwriter made it clear that he did not consider Moro's participation as a simple opening, but as “a real concert of his before mine”. However, the possible presence of Antonello Venditti remains a suggestion, after the rumors circulated in recent days and the subsequent clarification from Ultimo on the only guest announced.
The gates opened at 7 am, while the radio DJ set “Fateme Suonà” is scheduled from 2 pm.
Here is the possible lineup of the Ultimo concert in Tor Vergata (Rome), according to RomaToday (not in order of performance).
Acquarium
I don't know
We told each other everything
Elsewhere
Sunrise
Planets
Peter Pan (Will you fly with me?)
The dance of uncertainties
Your details
Swallows on a leash
I dedicate silence to you
Come into my heart
Little star
The most fragile star in the universe
Good morning life
Blame the fairy tales
Alone
Always love yourself
Giusy
Hypochondria
You feel good
Hanging dreams
Romantic
All this is you
Crazy about you
This senseless desire for you
Let me sing
Key
Sand
A thousand universes
Those two lovers
Falling into your eyes
Masterpiece
Unveiled poetry
Wherever you are
When the city sleeps
Mental balance
Monday
Sunday
The boy who counted the stars
Where the sea ends
Those guys
The only strength I have
At the end
The elegance of the stars
Shiny eyes
That thread that unites us
Really beautiful
The best part of me
Acoustic medley
Everything becomes normal / That house we had in mind / Never fear
On the eve of the show, the Roman singer-songwriter – born Niccolò Moriconi – shared a message on social media dedicated to his former self: “I will play in what will be the concert with the most tickets sold in history. I can't help but dedicate it to Niccolò. In fact, I can't help but ring the intercom to Niccolò, and look from below at the window from which I wait for him to look out.” After having complimented Ultimo, with a generous message on his social profiles under the banner of “making room for young people”, Vasco Rossi however wanted to recall in a post the historical importance of his previous record: “The legendary Modena Park will forever remain in history as the greatest rock concert in world music. An unattainable, unattainable and unrepeatable record”, writes Vasco accompanying videos and photos taken from an aerial shot from a helicopter, underlining how it was “a gigantic demonstration of love. In the end, that evening, the record had not won. The numbers had not won.
