We’re talking about her comedy special, Robby Hoffman: Wake Up, which was produced by John Mulaney and was a breakout hit on Netflix when it aired in December 2025. For a diminutive Jewish dyke (her word) from Montreal, Hoffman has an ineffable swagger — it’s something in…
Writer-director Megan Park may have created the runaway hit of the summer with the teen drama Sterling Point, which captures all of Gen Z’s messiness to a T. So how is she celebrating her success? She’s trapped in bed with a busted foot. “Funny enough, I broke my toe at the premiere of the show. And then because my toe’s all messed up, I was walking funny and twisted my ankle. The bid made by Reading Festival to extend its music license for Thursday night had been met with objections from local residents over noise concerns. It was announced back in July that organisers of the dual festival had applied for a licensing change, which would allow acts to perform on a Thursday, making the festival a four-day event. Usually, Wednesdays and Thursdays are seen as warm-up days, where festivalgoers can head to the site and set up for things kicking off on Friday and running until Sunday each August bank holiday weekend. In the report last month from BBC News,…

It’s the first thing we reach for when we want a hard seltzer that scratches the itch, every single time. CASAMIGOS CANNED COCKTAIL Famed tequila brand Casamigos rolled out its canned cocktails last year, and they did not skimp on the details. The vessel…

Throughout her career, Grimes has been a frontrunner among Western artists in appreciating and collaborating with East Asian pop acts. Over the years, she’s woven herself into K-pop lore by interviewing aespa and guesting on LOONA sub-unit yyxy’s ‘Love4eva’, and shown love to Taiwan by enlisting 潘PAN on ‘Art Angels’ track ‘Scream’. That she’s now teamed up with Japan’s turquoise-pigtailed Vocaloid star Hatsune Miku on ‘Miku-maxxing’, the frenetic lead track from the synthetic pop star’s new ‘Beyond Borders’ project, feels like it was inevitable to happen eventually. On ‘Beyond Borders Vol.1: Emerge M♡de Miku’, Miku teams up with a range…
