«“Leave for the hills of Ubeda” in Spanish means to digress, to get lost in the conversation [“I colli di Ubeda”]. This EP is what happens when the writer loses control of their stories.
Words rebel and unexpected stories are born: love stories [“Parole d’amorte”]stories of exclusion of those who represent what we don't want to see and who make their voices heard for the first time [“C’era una volta un uomo”].
This EP is a bet: to make nonsense creative, to make it… danceable [“L’ultimo (De André e Tecno)”].»
GOLCONDA
Golconda he is a Florentine singer-songwriter-rapper who lives in Rome and does nothing to hide a certain fascination with Magritte. In his songs he tries to talk about love, death and other nonsense, sometimes stealing quotes from Francesco Guccini, other times not. And when he doesn't, he is forced to invent his own way of writing songs, the result of a lifetime of listening: as a child, songwriters (in the car), as a teenager, rappers (in headphones). In any case, attention to words is his great little obsession: not only for what they would like to say, but for how they resonate and touch those who listen to them.
He debuted in 2020 with his first single, “Il mondo di Ambra”, for Piuma Dischi, followed by other singles. His first EP will be released in 2026, produced by Lorenzo Pellegrini (/handlogic) and published with Costello's Agency. He won the national “Dante Rock” award from Arezzo Wave with his penultimate single “Caronte”, released on vinyl together with songs by Elio, Modena City Ramblers, Paolo Benvegnù and Finaz from Bandabardò, with whom he shared the stage. His latest single, “Eldorado”, was published as an exclusive preview on Billboard Italia and highlighted among the singles not to be missed by Sky TG24.
