Change of location announced the day before, Q-Hub out, Cusano Milanino in. And deathbyromy made up for the mess with one of the most visceral lives of the tour.
Certain. Add these two lines before entering Romy's live feed:
Jayden Hammer warmed up La Cripta with a short but mean set: biting rap rock and no mincing words. High energy, crowd already warmed up when Romy entered as a “doll”.
No jeans, no dark stage. Romy appeared in a doll's dress under pink lights that colored the entire venue. Fake-sweet, fake-innocent. It lasted three songs. Then I tear. The dress flew off and underneath was a black leather bra. From doll to warrior in 10 minutes flat. The audience exploded.
The setlist played on that fracture. The first part, filtered by pastel lights, was all whispers and tension: “Death” sounded almost theatrical. As soon as she was left in her skin, the chaos started. Dirtier bass, open pit, Romy walking on the edge of the stage without a microphone, having the choruses sung in her face. The peak? “Sober” stripped down, just vocals and drums, with the green lights pinning it to the center. Goosebumps.
The Crypt, which only has the name underground, was boiling hot yesterday. Sweat on the walls, 200 people glued together, zero dead space between her and the crowd. Closing on “Team Death” with stage divas and a loud choir.
