The award-winning Icelandic composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds returns to Italy with Falling Apart Together, the most ambitious and innovative project of his career. Next May 4, 2027 will be the protagonist of a special evening at National Theatre Of Milan.
More than a concert, Falling Apart Together It is configured as an immersive experience that explores the distance that often separates us from each other. A show suspended between music and performance, conceived to question the barriers we build to protect ourselves and investigate those moments of vulnerability in which these defenses falter, allowing our most authentic and shared humanity to emerge.
Flanked by his team of musicians and collaborators, Arnalds intertwines compositions taken from his most beloved repertoire with unreleased songs, giving life to a sonic and visual story that redefines the very boundaries of live performance.
After the international success of the tours that brought albums such as Re:member And Some kind of peace, selling out prestigious halls such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Elbphilharmonie, the Sydney Opera House and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, conquering hundreds of thousands of spectators around the world, Ólafur Arnalds returns today with the most intimate, daring and innovative work of his artistic career.
Falling Apart Together invites the public to question what can arise when we find the courage to lower our defenses, letting ourselves go just enough to enter into relationships with others and share a participatory and authentic experience.
