Thanks to a similar event, as also highlighted by the Honourable Giorgio Muieit was possible to describe the concrete commitment towards this type of disabled person through the images, words and looks of many people who live, personally or as caregivers, with this condition: in this way it was easier to convey the deepest meaning of this day. “In fact, nothing is stronger than the reality experienced by those who seek that inclusiveness and by those who have been able to achieve it. And it is through this example that we must continue to build a society that also includes those who, very often due to ignorance, are marginalized”Muiè specified.
The international event that we remember every year is, on the other hand, a unique opportunity to highlight the right to inclusion of all subjects, regardless of the daily difficulties with which they find themselves having to live. As highlighted by Marina CalderoneMinister of Labor and Social Policies, by the way, “we are not all the same and everyone has hidden talents to be revealed. Hiring people with disabilities is therefore an opportunity to enrich oneself, especially with regard to different sensitivities. We, the representatives of the institutions, have the task of thinking of measures so that they can be made available to the community”.
The words of the Elios and the Tese stories
Of autism, on the other hand, the leader of the EELST he knows something about it, having an autistic teenage son, named Dante. In conjunction with the presentation of the documentary on the Concertozzothe band therefore commented:
“The idea behind Elio e le Storie Tese's Concertozzo 2024, which was held at the Monza stadium in May, was to entrust the management of food for spectators to associations that employ autistic people, including PizzAut of Monza, Luna Blu of La Spezia and others, trying to overcome the enormous difficulties caused by the use of autistic people in very crowded and noisy places. In addition to the economic gain deriving from this activity, which is important in itself, the objective was to demonstrate that it CAN BE DONE, and that other artists could follow the same example. Another very important objective was the dissemination of the news, together with the information activities that took place in the city center the previous day with the participation of doctors and experts. So to summarize: competent work and information, the same objectives that we set ourselves for the Concertozzo 2025, trying to improve in terms of number of spectators, number of associations involved and types of disabilities addressed, because work can have beneficial effects as well as in autism also on many other types of disabilities”
