Green Day – Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – world rock superstars, have announced the original soundtrack of “NIMRODS”out on July 31st and already available for pre-order.
The 30-track album will be released on CD, multiple vinyl versions, cassette and digital platforms and will feature 22 fan-favorite Green Day songs from throughout their career, as well as exclusive songs from the soundtrack, including the new Green Day song “I'm Never Gonna RIP” and four previously unreleased live recordings from the band's performance at the Palladium in Los Angeles, as shown in the film.
The soundtrack also includes songs by The Paradox, Ultra Q and Mckenna Grace, as well as four tracks by Analog Dogs, the fictional band at the center of “NIMRODS”.
To support the announcement, the band shared the new song and video “I'm Never Gonna RIP”now available on all streaming platforms and on Green Day's official YouTube channel.
The movie NIMRODS
The movie “NIMRODS” will arrive in Italian cinemas exclusively with Nexo Studios from 11 to 18 August.
Created by writer and director Lee Kirk in collaboration with Green Day and produced by Tim Perell, “NIMRODS” is a coming-of-age story that tells the story of three friends (Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust) who leave for Los Angeles, wrongly convinced that their band will play as Green Day's support act on New Year's Eve. Their journey becomes a raucous, adventure-filled cross-country experience, inspired by Green Day's exploits and their years spent in a tour van. The stellar cast includes Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, Ryan Foust, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, Keen Ruffalo, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Mckenna Grace, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee and Sean Gunn.
