A settlement has been reached in the wrongful death lawsuit between Aaron Carter‘s family and a Los Angeles psychiatry clinic that prescribed the singer Xanax. Amen Clinics will pay a “confidential sum” as a “full and final resolution” of the allegations against both the clinic and one of its psychiatrists, Dr. John Faber, according to court documents filed on May 12 and obtained by Billboard. The settlement’s value is “within the ballpark” of the damages Carter’s family sought, which was less than $325,000, per the filing.
