Noah Lennox’s Panda Bear is continuing this year’s run of Animal Collective spinoff projects with the announcement of A ? of When, his latest collaborative effort with Pete Kember’s Sonic Boom. The follow-up to their 2022 LP Reset features contributions from Mary Lattimore and Daniel O’Sullivan. The influence and memory of Dan Auerbach’s father looms large over the Black Keys’ latest album Peaches!, a collection of obscure blues and soul covers that the band recorded while Auerbach’s father was in the final stages of a cancer battle.
