It is available from Friday 22 May 2026 on all digital platforms”There isn't a reason”, the new single by Alessio Longoni (out for Frost Discs / Believe Music Italy), an intense and contemporary reflection on the human need to start over, even when there is no logical reason to do so. The piece develops around a concept as simple as it is universal: you don't always need a reason to get up, change or really live again. Between certainties that transform, relationships that evolve and fragilities that teach, the song passes through deep emotions with a direct and authentic language.
The refrain – powerful and immediate – becomes the heart of the message: “It's the need to be reborn without a reason… feeling freer, or simply more alive”. A sentence that perfectly summarizes the soul of the project: the search for an inner freedom that needs no justification.
“There isn't a reason“talks about falls, bonds, emotional memories – like a mother's smile or a healing caress – and transforms these images into a shareable emotional story, capable of speaking to anyone who is going through a moment of change. With this song, Alessio Longoni he signs a track that fits into the contemporary pop panorama with a strong emotional and introspective component, maintaining a balance between immediacy and depth and continuing his path in Italian pop art, maintaining intimate and recognizable writing, in balance between immediacy and depth.
Singer-songwriter originally from Cagliari, active since the early 2000s, Longoni has built a coherent path over the years between publications and live shows, developing a personal style that is rooted in the Italian singer-songwriter tradition, but with a contemporary look. “There isn't a reason.” fits into this journey like a new chapter: a song that invites you to let go and start again, even without a reason.
