And finally the saddest, but most predictable news arrived. The former Hellwatt Festival, now Pulse of Gaia, has been cancelled.
The news arrives with a press release a few days after the cancellation of the concert by Kanye West and Travis Scott who were the leading names at the very first festival (here if you want a refresher on the troubled history). «Having had to note that the necessary conditions for the holding of the concerts on 4, 5 and 11 July 2026 at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia do not exist, we inform you of the cancellation of the dates. Tickets purchased in advance will be refunded according to the established methods.”
The reference is to the dates starring Swedish House Mafia, The Chainsmokers and many others from the EDM scene. The date July 4th had already disappeared from communications for a few days.
Andrea Cattini, president of C.Volo SPA, speaks: «We are deeply sorry for the decision we had to make. Our goal has always been to create quality events for the public and until the end we searched for a solution that would allow us to confirm the concerts for these three days but, following a series of complex evaluations, we cannot proceed. We trust that you will understand this decision, which we have reached due to circumstances beyond our control. We thank all the professionals involved for the support and commitment shown in recent months.”
Below are the refund methods. The official Ticketmaster and Vivaticket presale circuits have already sent via email to all buyers the details on how to request a refund for the dates of 17 and 18 July 2026 at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia. By Friday 12 June, they will also send buyers via email the details on how to request a refund for 4, 5 and 11 July at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia. It will be possible to request a refund for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster and Vivaticket by 19 July 2026.
