Heroes Festival announced this year's lineup. This is the fourth edition and will be a widespread musical event, which will span theItaly from north to south in the month of May. There are currently five scheduled dates, but the last events on the bill will be added shortly.
The event is produced by Music Innovation Hubalongside the ASviS Sustainable Development Festival and in collaboration with UN SDG Action Campaign. Every appointment of Heroes Festival it is created together with an important local interlocutor; and intends to enhance the sustainable development objectives of the 2030 Agenda. The chosen locations themselves have a recognized social and cultural value, as aggregation centers for the local community. Through the journey from north to south of Italy, Music Innovation Hub aims to communicate an interpretation of cities and their context in a different way. This, thanks to music and its ability to act on the collective imagination of the chosen cities.
The peculiarity of Heroes Festival is underlined by Sarah Parisio, Project manager of the event. These are his words:
“From the artists who perform on stage to the different entities that host the scheduled concerts, up to the public of each city: Heroes are everyone, the partners, the communities, the venues transformed from industrial centers to cultural aggregation centers social, the Festival audience; people and realities thanks to which we can imagine a new, fairer and more sustainable world. Music as a universal language, in places with transformative socio-cultural value, a point of reference for evolving communities. This is where Heroes differs from other music festivals, thanks to its ecosystem vision that enhances the result of participation beyond the event itself”.
Heroes Festival: dates and line-up
The Festival will stop at Turin (Cascina Falchera), with a double appointment. Friday May 10than evening dedicated to songwriting will be held with Tiromancino and at the opening Clauscalmo. The next day, Saturday May 11ththe event will be oriented towards Italian disco coordinates with the DJ set of Emmanuelle and to follow the live performance of Where is Liana.
The May 16thit will be the turn of Lucio Corsi And Casino Royale at DumBo's Bologna. The May 17th an evening full of dancing is planned in which electronics will meet Middle Eastern sounds: guests Deena Abdelwahed And Populous at BASE Milano inside the WeWorld Festival (annual event on gender equality).
The May 21st, Heroes Festival will present Cosmos at the Averna Spazio Open in Palermo.
