Renato D'Amico transforms slow time into the leitmotif of “Slow Life”
Slow life contains 5 songs between pop, Italo disco and contemporary songwriting. The project presents itself as a path in which relationships, personal growth, nostalgia and the desire to escape find a meeting point.
The EP was written, produced and arranged by himself Renato D'Amico; and took shape after the artist's move to Tuscany, where he created his own recording studio.
Speaking of Slow lifethe artist says: “It is the work of these years, but it was only really born when I moved to Tuscany, to the countryside, where I set up my studio. There I found the space to listen to myself and understand that it was the right time“.
From this experience was born a project that focuses on the value of slow time, contrasting it with the accelerated rhythms of everyday life and the hyperconnection that characterizes the present.

The five songs talk about relationships, change and the need to slow down
To open the work is Fog: it is a reflection on the sense of loss that arises when memories, time and emotions get confused.
With Always the same, Renato D'Amico instead he observes the relationships that seem to follow already written scripts, questioning the truths that often remain hidden behind the roles that each plays.
The third song on the EP is Little kisspresented to Sanremo Giovani 2025. The piece is dedicated to the energy and contradictions of a young, impulsive and unresolved love.
So as not to hurt yourself instead it broadens the personal perspective, transforming itself into a reflection on the indifference and injustices of the present, entrusting the sea with the role of symbol of protection and rebirth.
The title track closes the project Slow lifewhich summarizes the message of the entire EP through images of shared freedom, such as that of “five on a five hundred”, transforming slowing down into a conscious choice rather than simple nostalgia.
