Long Island emo-poppers Oso Oso have announced their new album. Out November 6, An Exchange of Information is set to be the inaugural release on Feral Twin, a new record label founded by Hop Along’s Mark Quinlan. Oso Oso are now signed to the label, too. Below, check out the cover art—featuring a very cute giraffe—and listen to the lead single “Know You Know Me Better.”
“I’ve spent most of my life around independent music, as a musician, an agent, a talent buyer, touring, booking shows, and working with artists,” Quinlan said in a press statement. “Feral Twin grew out of wanting to take everything I’ve learned from those different sides of the industry and build something intentional where every release matters. I’m not interested in putting out records just to fill a release schedule. I want Feral Twin to be a home for music and ideas I genuinely believe in, made by artists I respect, and to give those works the kind of care and attention they deserve.”
The last Oso Oso LP, Life Till Bones, came out in 2024. In the fall, Jade Lilitri will take his band on a tour of North America, which runs through October and November. They’ll be supported by Leisure Hour and Bad Luck. on the East Coast and Liquid Mike and Bugsy out West.
