This evening, July 15th, My Chemical Romance return to Italy for the only date of their European tour, scheduled at the Visarno Arena in Florence. The concert celebrates the twentieth anniversary of “The Black Parade”, the album that in 2006 transformed Gerard Way's band into one of the absolute symbols of the emo-rock scene, becoming a cult album for an entire generation. More than a nostalgia operation, the tour represents the opportunity to rediscover a repertoire that continues to influence artists and audiences, confirming the relevance of a band capable of combining rock, theatricality and visual imagery like few others in the last twenty years.
Interpol will open the evening. The historic New York group formed by Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino will bring their unmistakable sound to the stage sound post-punk, made of dark atmospheres, melodic tension and essential elegance, introducing in the best way one of the most anticipated rock evenings of the summer.
