Liam Payne‘s son Bear, 9, has been named the sole beneficiary of the late singer’s $29,007,998 estate, according to documents obtained by People. Payne, who died in October 2024 without making a will, shared Bear with his former partner and singer Cheryl, who was named the administrator of Payne’s estate along with music industry lawyer Richard Bray in May 2025. Twenty years after his death and in the year in which he would have turned eighty, the city of Cambridge will pay tribute to Syd Barrett with a series of initiatives dedicated to the founder of Pink Floyd.
