In April, she announced a string of headline US, UK and European headline tour dates, including a show in London’s Camden Assembly, but now she has confirmed she will play two dates at the venue due to outstanding demand. Democrats are well positioned to take back the House of Representatives this November, but the Senate is a whole other dogfight. In order to flip the upper chamber, Democrats will need to defeat entrenched incumbents, and win in states where they're usually at a disadvantage. Virtually all roads to a Democratic Senate majority run through Maine. That means, as things currently stand, they desperately need a scandal-plagued oyster farmer named Graham Platner to win. Platner, the presumptive Democratic nominee for the seat, has been barnstorming Vacationland for months, and outstripping incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins in the polls. But a…

The screams started long before the lights dimmed at New York's Madison Square Garden on Thursday night — layers and layers of them, bouncing off the walls of the arena. The merch lines wrapped around the concourse, with the customers broken up into sections so as not to interrupt foot traffic. Outside, fans climbed upstairs from the underground, emerging out of the Penn Station subway entrance. It's been freshly painted orange and blue, to celebrate the Knicks being in the NBA finals for the first time since 1999. But despite the occasional cheers of “Let's go Knicks,” this isn't a…
Marilyn Manson lost his latest bid Friday to shut down a sexual assault lawsuit brought by his former assistant. A California judge refused to toss or trim the claims in Ashley Walters' third amended complaint, five months after he revived the case under a new California law that gives older sexual assault claims a two-year lookback window to move forward. Manson's lawyer Alexa Foley had argued during the hearing in downtown Los Angeles that Walters' did not qualify as a revivable under the new law, known as AB250. She tried in vain to convince the court that Walters couldn't meet…
After “Arrogant boy”, another song from the album “Splat!” out July 3rd Daniel D`Amico for SANREMO.FM
“This song is about the past,” said Phoebe Bridgers before diving into one of the eight unreleased tracks she played for a rapt sold-out crowd at her pop-up Madison Square Garden show on Thursday night. “But that’s every song.” Since her spectral breakout single “Smoke Signals” in 2017, the Los Angeles songwriter, Boygenius member, and soon-to-be actress has become a preeminent chronicler of the ghosts we accumulate over time: past selves, old haunts, lost loves. In her songs, collective and personal history are both alive and instructive—a pathway to understanding who you are, and who it is you’d like to…
