We’ve all got baggage. My Heart Is a Room With No Cameras in It, the second album from Brooklyn musician Julian McCamman’s Victoryland, is loaded with the stuff: a heap of fragmentary memories, cast-off objects, and shameful urges out in the open for all to see. After getting his start as the rhythm guitarist for now-defunct Philadelphia band Blood, McCamman left the city on a quest for pop songwriting perfection.

Cate Le Bon brought out St. Vincent for their new collaborative single ‘Always The Same’ in New York this week – watch below. The song was released last week for the first time, a track that derives from the sessions for Le Bon’s recent album ‘Michelangelo Dying’, but it did not make the final cut for the album. St. Vincent – aka Annie Clark – contributes echoey vocals to the woozy, shimmering song, and the two artists played it live together for the first time on Friday night (January 16) during Le Bon’s show in Manhattan’s Irving Plaza.
