IDLES have released a raucous, volatile new track called ‘Rabbit Run’, which is taken from Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming feature film Caught Stealing. It is one of four new tracks the band has made for the crime film, which all feature as part of a soundtrack composed by Rob Simonsen. The film, which will come out on August 29, features Austin Butler, Bad Bunny, Zoë Kravitz, Action Bronson and more. The film’s full soundtrack will also be released on the same day. Tom Lehrer, the influential song satirist whose darkly comic lyrics gained a cult following decades after he stopped making music, has died at the age of 97. Lehrer died at his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, his longtime friend David Herder told the Associated Press. No cause of death was provided. The New York City-born, Harvard-educated Lehrer began making music while studying mathematics in college, applying his humor to song to tackle issues ranging from racism to militarism to religion to nuclear war in the Fifties and early Sixties.
