In February, Carlos Palazuelos was detained in Arizona for questioning in connection with the disappearance of Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mother, Nancy Guthrie. He was quickly released that same day without being charged. When speaking to ABC15 soon after the incident, Palazuelos said he was driving with his wife and arrested upon stepping out of his vehicle. “They didn’t even tell me what’s going on till the detectives got here, like two hours [after] I got arrested,” he said. “They told me I was being detained for kidnapping. And I asked him, ‘Kidnapping of who?’” Six months after his arrest and release,…
Soundgarden‘s final album is now being mixed. The iconic grunge band have long hinted they will release their final album with frontman Chris Cornell, who took his own life in 2017. The band were writing new material with Cornell in the period leading up to his death. On the eighth anniversary of Cornell’s passing in 2025, Soundgarden teased what new music might sound like. “It feels good and invigorating to hear Chris singing from over that horizon”, they wrote at the time. That followed on from initial reports in 2023 that the band had settled a legal dispute with Cornell’s estate that included the rights…

The remarks referred to an incident during Usher and Chris Brown’s co-headlining…

A new lawsuit claims Netflix did not safeguard an as-yet-unreleased Nicolas Cage WWII movie, which allegedly was just sitting around on a hard drive until somebody stole it. That may read like a Hollywood elevator pitch for a movie that would likely star Cage, but it’s the gist of a very real 16-page complaint filed with a federal trial court in California. A British company called Op-Fortitude, which is run by a Swiss citizen named Simon Afram, claims to have spent more than $45 million making the movie, titled Fortitude, which it has been shopping around. The movie, which the…
Elon Musk, the great disruptor of our time, the enigmatic, egomaniacal ultra-billionaire whose bold claims and brash decisions have come to define a modern era, is boringly predictable. For close to a decade, when push comes to shove, he’s just another Republican. Axios has reported that despite a widely publicized spat with Donald Trump last year, Musk is reviving his America PAC and pledging to throw millions of dollars at Republican candidates during the 2026 midterms. In the 2024 election cycle, Musk’s America PAC spent more than $260 million across the presidential and other down-ballot elections. It’s unclear how much…
