Ti West’s upcoming A24-distributed horror film, MaXXXine, has a new trailer. The movie, which takes place in Hollywood in the 1980s, is the third installment of West’s X franchise, which kicked off with 2022’s X and its prequel, Pearl, released the same year. Soundtracked by “Self Control” by Laura Branigan, the trailer features Mia Goth, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, and Giancarlo Esposito, plus musicians Moses Sumney and Halsey. The bridge referenced in Nirvana‘s song ‘Something In The Way’ is at risk of destruction. Located in frontman Kurt Cobain‘s hometown of Aberdeen, Washington, the Young Street Bridge has become a shrine of sorts for the late singer, having been covered with Nirvana-themed graffiti and messages in the 30 years since his death. Last month, Omar Apollo teased a new album, writing on social media, “LP2 💽.” The Warner Records artist has now shared a new song, “Spite.” The track arrives with a music video that director David Heofs shot in Mexico City. Kiss are the latest artist to sell off their music catalog — and, in this case, their well-known onstage personas and makeup — for big money. The band — which closed out its (alleged) farewell tour in December 2023 — announced they have sold the rights to their music and imagery to Pophouse, the Swedish company that created the ABBA Voyage hologram show and is working on a similar project involving Kiss.  While the price wasn’t revealed in a joint press release, Fortune reports that Kiss raked in upwards of $300 million in the sale. Donald Trump’s social media company Truth Social reported losses of $58 million in 2023 just days after making its debut on the stock market.  According to filings made to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Truth Social reported a net loss of $58,189,200 in 2023, alongside a more than $50 million loss in 2022.
