Stevie Wonder is celebrating 50 years of his seminal album Songs in the Key of Life with a series of anniversary shows. Fabric has announced that it has signed a four-year partnership with St Paul’s Cathedral to host live music events – however the move has already faced some backlash. The club announced last week that it had signed a new deal with the historic cathedral, which would see it become the “exclusive partner for contemporary music events from 2026 through to 2030”. Accomplished music video director Jon Small, who played drums in Billy Joel‘s early bands the Hassles and Atilla, has died.
