Angieone of the finalists of Friends 25came back to us for an interview in which she talks about her new path. The meeting took place a few hours before the start of the in-store tour, when the album Glass Dreams officially arrives in the hands of those who supported her during the talent months. In the video interview the singer spoke to us about the school, the record written before entering, the aesthetic change and a future in which she does not exclude musicals.
Angiethe experience ad Friends 25 and personal growth
The first thing we asked her was how she feels today, months after the start of this public journey.
“I feel grown up, not changed. I'm still the same Angie that she described herself as before the program but this was a journey that helped me grow in my head but also musically.
Friends it's a school, we worked every day and we prepared a lot for the evening, for the episodes. I will remember the people who were the most important part of the journey. I think of Maria, of the workers, of my companions, of everyone.
A moment that comes to mind in particular was in the semi-final, with the remaining boys we decided to have a dinner in the garden between us and we stayed until late even though Emiliano had to go to sleep at midnight since he is a minor.”

Glass Dreamsthe album written before Friends
In Glass Dreams there are no featurings: eight tracks in which there is only her. We asked her if she had thought about involving anyone, even looking at her fellow travelers as Kaatewhich with Gard worked on a song together.
“This is an album that I worked on before joining and that I simply finalized along the way. They were pieces written before and I wanted to be 100% me, telling things that I had never said before and I took advantage of this to put in many different elements.
The album was born a year and a half ago because Sogni di Vetro was born a year and a half ago, so Sogni di Vetro was the first one I wrote.
If we talk about Meglio di Me, the day of writing was special because I have always written without problems but that day I arrived at the session full of problems, I was just crying. On the second day Etta tells me to talk about this, this block, how I felt.”
Better than methe song that tells Angelica Paola
Listening to the album, Better than me it is the song that most of all conveys Angie's intimate side. We asked her if it is also her personal choice or if she would choose another instead.
“Meglio di Me is the piece that best represents me as a person in detail, on a musical level Poco Poco was a calling card and I'm happy I did it because it had a bit of everything and it encompasses the whole album.
I wrote all the pieces but this one, Controcorrente, Lettera al Paradiso were 100% created by me and then only produced.”
The aesthetic change of Angie it comes from emotional growth
The glow up inside the school was evident: from the girl with the headband we arrived at the cover image of Glass Dreams. We asked her how she experienced this change, and whether the external appearance also had an impact on the emotional level.
“This change comes from the emotional change, during the journey I grew up and I feel more mature, more of a woman and less of a child. I wanted this to be on the cover too. I needed the headband to hide myself but I realized that I had many layers that covered myself up to my hair.
I think I changed, grew as people and then grew out. I remember that in the last period we said that there were some pieces that I wouldn't have been able to do if I hadn't grown up. Growing on a personal level helped me grow on stage too.”
Between musicals and their own songs, the future of Angie
In the school of Friendsunder the guidance of Lorella CuccariniAngie also tried her hand at musicals, from Don't Rain on My Parade to Cabaret. We asked her if that path could continue together with her record production.
“I have always been a lover, as a spectator, of musicals and as a teacher like Lorella I couldn't help but try. I really enjoyed trying many different things, stimulating for me, so I don't rule out trying this path too but I love making my own songs and for now they are my priority.”
Miss and instores, the new path of Angie
The single that accompanies the album is Missand the instore tour starts from today. We asked her how she is preparing to meet live the public who have supported her in recent months.
“It was a dream to be able to hold something physical, of mine, in my hand and meet the people who supported me live. I wanted to thank them because without them none of this would be there, they are fundamental, and I can't wait to see them both in store and live.”
