MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE: “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” is out, the new edition of the fourth album – Rockon.it

He went out “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Deluxe Edition)“the new expanded edition of the visionary fourth studio album by My Chemical Romancereleased by Reprise / Warner Records.

The release comes a few days before the band's highly anticipated return to Italy: next July 15th My Chemical Romance will be protagonists of their only Italian date at the Visarno Arena in Florence. The collection includes remastered versions of the original songs from the album, nine bonus tracks and a completely new look. Many of the additional content arrives in physical format for the first time, including the first releases on vinyl and on most streaming platforms.

There Deluxe Edition is available for streaming and download on all digital platforms, as well as in various 2LP configurations — including picture disc, zoetrope and colored vinyl editions — and in 2CD and cassette formats. A special vinyl version will also be available on selected dates of the world tour.

Produced by My Chemical Romance together with Rob Cavallo, “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” was originally published on November 22, 2010 and represents one of the boldest and most imaginative chapters of the band's career. Set in a post-apocalyptic California, the album is configured as a true contemporary rock opera, capable of blending comic book aesthetics, sci-fi imagery and punk energy in one of the most iconic narrative universes of the music of the 2000s.

The album debuted in the US Top 10 and in numerous international markets, reaching the top of the Rock and Alternative charts Billboard. Both the album and the singles “SING” And “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” have obtained Platinum certification in the United States.
