The appointment with one of the most anticipated musical events in the Venetian area is also renewed for this summer: from 27 to 30 August 2026the large green spaces of theformer Peseggia missile base (Scorzè, VE) will once again be the setting for the new edition of FESTIVAL BASIS.
The project, managed by the association Basic Music APSpresents a now consolidated format that combines music and territorial regeneration. This year's program is divided between three big flagship evenings with names of national importance and a Sunday entirely dedicated to emerging music, conviviality and the return of public space to citizens.
Here is the detailed program of the four days.
Thursday 27 August: Pierpaolo Capovilla and the Bad Masters
The opening of the festival is entrusted to Pierpaolo Capovilla and the Bad Masters. Capovilla, historic and controversial voice of Italian independent rock (former founder of One Dimensional Man and Il Teatro degli Orrori), arrives on the stage of the Base with over thirty years of artistic career and fresh from success on the big screen as the protagonist of the film “The cities of the plains”. A beginning characterized by the most visceral, lyrical and impactful rock.
Friday 28 August: Hip-hop night with Jack The Smoker and Dani Faiv
Friday evening is entirely dedicated to the rhymes and flows of the Italian rap scene. He will go on stage Jack The Smokera pillar of underground rap active since the 2000s and a leading name in collective cults Machete Mixtapeesteemed for his technical and uncompromising writing. She will be there with him Dani Faivamong the most versatile and recognizable rappers on the Italian charts, famous for his surgical joints, original rhymes and extremely successful collaborations.
Saturday 29 August: Rareş and Selton's tour closing party
The third evening opens with the live performance of Rareş: the singer-songwriter, born in Romania but raised in Venice, is one of the most interesting voices on the current indie scene, capable of fusing the melodic tradition of the 60s with contemporary electronics. Afterwards, the stage will be dei Selton. The Italian-Brazilian formation will close the much appreciated tour to promote the album at the BASE FESTIVAL Gringo (a project full of guests such as Baustelle, Gaia and Emma Nolde), giving the public their unmistakable mix of pop, songwriting and tropical atmospheres.
Sunday 30 August: “zero km” music and sharing
The real novelty of this edition is the final day. Having abandoned the fast pace of the evening concerts, the gates will open for a long aperitif surrounded by greenery. The soundtrack will be entirely entrusted to local bands and musical groups, in a day of lightheartedness designed to enhance the local scene and experience the former missile base as a shared park.
FESTIVAL BASIS it doesn't end on stage. During the four days, the former missile base will be transformed into a real meeting space. In fact, the public will find a large, carefully selected food truck area and small markets, as well as workshops open to the public, designed to complete the festival experience at 360 degrees: an event dedicated to music, yes, but also to being together.
The gates are scheduled to open at 6:00 pm.
Access to the three main evenings (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) requires a ticket of €5 per evening (plus advance booking fees). For those who want to experience the entire festival experience, a special subscription is available for the three evenings, at the discounted cost of €10. On Sunday, however, free access.
