Available from July 10th on all digital platforms “OLO”, first side of the debut album of the Roman artist Sofia Ara will be released in the next few months by Dumba Dischi. “OLO” it is the brighter side of an inner journey, a treasure map that takes shape only through the search itself.
They were used on the EP flutes, saxophones, organic sounds, whispered ethereal voices And danceable drops of various types that unite glitchy electronic sounds to an underwater aesthetic which was born from Sofia's passion for aquatic fauna.

The journey of “OLO” opens with “DARK LIGHT”focus track of the EP, a song that focuses on the gap between two internal parts in continuous movement: a constant oscillation between darkness and light, tears and laughter, fragility and luminous impulses.
Hon “DIVID TWO”Sofia Ara instead tells the moment in which a part of herself separates to suggest a possibility of renewal: at the beginning this fracture is rejected, almost hated, but little by little it becomes something to be understood and welcomed, until it transforms into a new form of awareness.
“WATERFALLS” looks to the future starting from memory: the song reflects on how it is possible to build what will come by learning to remember the past without erasing it, considering it not a redundancy, but a living resource from which to start again. This first part ends “I WILL FORGET YOU”which addresses the theme of the need to cancel or forget someone when detachment becomes a positive gesture: a cancellation that does not coincide with loss, but with the opening of new doors and the possibility of crossing other interior spaces.
