There are bands capable of transporting the audience to another Meridian from the first notes, and they Of Monsters and Men belong to this rare category.
Thursday June 25, 2026the Icelandic indie-folk collective made a stop at Sequoie Music Park in Bologna for the second of three highly anticipated events in our country, offering a night full of poetry, acoustic energy and deep connection.
The tour, which recorded a resounding sold out on the following date in Gardone Riviera, marks the band's return to Italy six years after their last LP. A return that smells of home and rediscovery of one's roots.
The beating heart of the Bolognese show was the presentation of the brand new fourth studio album, with a title as bizarre as it is evocative: “All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade”. Recorded in total autonomy in their studio in Iceland and self-produced with the complicity of Josh Kaufman (former collaborator of The National and Bonny Light Horseman), the album explores the inevitable duality between love and suffering.
On stage, the interaction between the voices of Nanna Hilmarsdóttir And Ragnar Þórhallsson he recreated that intimate and almost domestic warmth that characterizes the new tracks.
