While waiting to define the August programme, as per tradition the AMA Music Festival begins in July with some dates which to define as “preview” is now absolutely an understatement.
This year two legendary names of hard rock such as the Scorpions and Alice Cooper will perform in the park of Villa Negri in Romano d'Ezzelino (VI).
We'll start warming up on Friday 10.07 with a day entirely dedicated to Italian flower-punk, in memory of Cristiano “Ruvido” Baldo (among the main “cultural agitators” of that scene), with Punkreas, Derozer, Persiana Jones, Shandon and Moravagine (entrance €10).
On Saturday 11th, however, it will be the Scorpions' turn, on their final tour after over 50 years of history. In support, a luxury guest like Saxon, by the stainless Biff Byford.
Another name that has become a myth, namely Alice Cooper, will follow on 12.07, bringing his historic shock rock to the foot of Grappa. Before him will play the precursors of English punk The Damned and the local glory Messa, fresh from the glories of their fourth album.
Finally, on Saturday 18.07, a free donation event in favor of the oncology department of the Bassano del Grappa hospital with Alex Britti.
