Anna Castiglia announces Fear in your pockethis second album, out Friday 25 September for Number A / Sony Music Italy. The album is available for pre-order from today, also in a special signed version.
The new work arrives exactly one year after its debut and after an important recognition: the Tenco license plate as Best First Album won on 8 July 2025 with the debut album I like (we talked about it here when it came out). Fear in your pocket marks the opening of the second phase of the journey.

At the moment, all that is known about the album is its title and date. The direction continues the work started with the debut but on different paths, with new sound suggestions and a writing that promises to show still unexplored sides. Always present, however, is the sharp irony and personal look at everyday life that have made the style recognisable Anna Castiglia.
The title itself, Fear in your pocketsuggests a declared theme: fear not as an obstacle to hide, but as something to carry with you, perhaps from which to show you the way. For tracklists and singles, we will have to wait for the next few weeks.

Who is Anna Castiglia
Sicilian by birth and Milanese by adoption, Anna Castiglia In just a few years she has established herself as one of the most original singer-songwriters of her generation. His name emerged at the X Factor 2023 auditions with the song Ghalithe same one with which he won the XXXV edition of Musicultura in June 2024.
The stage is the environment in which his project was born and grown. After the months of opening at Max Gazzè's live shows, it started with the first club tour produced by OTR Live, which was followed by Fabi Silvestri Gazzè's opening act at the Circo Massimo and the opening of Carmen Consoli's concert at the Roman Theater of Ostia Antica. In between the inclusion in the Up Next Italia program of Apple Music and the singles Whitman (feat. Ghemon) e U seas.
On September 27, 2024 he released his debut album I like (OTR Live / ADA Music Italy), accompanied by the Mi Piace Tour and the single Deconstruct. This was followed by the second participation in the Concertone del Primo Maggio, the project I like it at home with the rereading of U seas together with Selton, and finally the Targa Tenco on 8 July 2025. Among its activities there is also the all-female musical collective Cantafinoadieciwhich we talked about in this video interview.
With Fear in your pocketout on September 25th, the artist tests the greatest difficulty for those who made their debut by winning: confirming themselves on their second album.
