“It's a very direct song, which mixes anger, nostalgia and irony: on the one hand you want to push a person away, on the other you know that certain emotions are difficult to forget. I wanted to tell that moment when you try to choose yourself, even if it's not easy, and you understand that even sentimental mistakes teach you something.
The word fuck is brutal but sincere. It can be synonymous with anger but also with affection at times. It seemed like the truest thing to say and then every now and then shouting that word can be so liberating that it becomes pleasant.”

The name of Mew has entered the imagination of a large portion of the Italian public thanks to the ad experience Friends and at the next step a Sanremo Youth. The release of the first EP When no one sees us it consolidated a dark pop language that the trade press had welcomed positively.
