Anticipated by the singles “Baciami Quando” and “Mastino“, “Martian VooDoo” is the second album of the folk-rock project Warfoolcreated by Luca Peverelli And Elia Mazzoletti.
Recorded at Bleach Recording Studio in Gittana by Andrea Maglia (Manetti, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti) and mastered at La Maestà by Giovanni Versarithe album shifts the more intimate narrative of the first work (Isabella del Vento, the Holy Mason and a lot of time to think) towards a more shared, ritual and collective dimension.
The stories told involve simple people, whose joys and damnations are limited to a microcosm that always moves between a reality that bites ferociously and the suspended dimension of a dream, where some rules can fail and where not everything necessarily takes on an incontrovertible meaning.

Compared to the past, the lyrics leave more space for the music, which takes on a real narrative role, ferrying the listener into sensations that are not suited to the words. These instrumental sections allowed the band to experiment and move into sonic territories unknown to them, in search of a more contemporary codification of a recipe, that of folk, now widely historicized.
The album also sees the collaboration with in its first single “Mastino”, released on March 21st Alessandro Alosiformer voice of the duo “Il Pan del Diavolo”.
Martian VooDoo it does not behave in a linear manner, it is not designed to be a story that has a conclusion, it is composed of chapters and fragments which, although they make complete sense in the chronological and overall listening of the album, still leave many questions in the heads of those who approach it.
SCEMODIUGUERRA
Warfool was born in the mountains of Valtellina in 2022 from the pen of Luca Peverelli. Having found a traveling companion in Elia Mazzoletti, the two publish the album “Isabella del Vento, il Santo Muratore, e tanto tempo per pensiero”: a home-made work in which folk and songwriting mix in an ironic and rough but deep and personal sound.
The duo began performing in small local contexts and played at the main festivals in the area such as Rock n'Rodes and Morborock. Meanwhile Scemodiguerra begins to imagine new stories to tell. The boys decide to rely on the ear and hands of Andrea Maglia (Manetti, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti) for the creation of their second album, “Martian VooDoo”. “Mastino” is the first single from the album, released in March 2026 and featuring the collaboration of Alosi, former singer of Il Pan del Diavolo.
