«”GoGo!” is the new album by Stefano Restacreated with the support of the Nuovo IMAIE call: a work that crosses emotional states and soundscapes, between movement and suspension, consolidating personal and cinematic writing. The tracks move between electronic and refined songwriting, suspended indie-folk atmospheres and more urban and nocturnal drifts, alternating relaxed and smoky passages with brighter and more acidic impulses, with an almost new wave edge.
The single “Old Film”, recorded in a live session in Formello, was born from nocturnal suggestions and visual references – from the film “Past Lives” to the melodic rock of early Radiohead – transforming memory and restlessness into a story suspended between nostalgia and the present.»

STEFANO STAY
Stefano Resta develops a direct and layered author's pop, a flow of consciousness capable of uniting melancholic sensitivity, precision and a “palette of moods” always poised between intimacy and energy, in dialogue with Italian tradition (Battisti, Dalla) and international tradition (Bon Iver, Radiohead), with a voice defined as intimate and iridescent that moves between the narrative warmth of James Taylor and the scratched ripples of Billy Corgan.
Stefano Resta is an Apulian artist, born in Corato. His artistic path began as a drummer during his medical studies; he studied piano and drums in the province of Bari and started producing small tracks of techno music. In Rome in 2017 he began publishing as Raesta. In 2019 he began the collaboration with Vincenzo Vescera with whom, after the good positioning at the Premio Lunezia, he founded RaestaVinvè and released an album “Biancalancia” and an EP “Resto a Sud”. The collaborations in these two works include, among others, the
French singer Clio (“Rien ne va plus”) and the Neapolitan Francesco di Bella (“Resto a Sud”). In 2023 his first solo EP “Fuoco di Paglia” was released, recorded in Ferrara for Alka Record Label. In recent years he has performed on international stages (FIMU festival in Belfort as Raesta or Porto Rubino with RaestaVinvè). The release of his first LP is scheduled for October, which will be released independently but with the collaboration of the Milanese Costello's Agency.
