The Mad Cool Festival in Madrid is approaching its tenth anniversary. Scheduled from 8 to 11 July at Iberdrola Music in Madrid, the Spanish festival has become, in a round decade, a point of reference for those who love that unique energy of European festivals and, above all, for rock and pop fans. And just read this year's line up to understand it: Foo Fighters, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Pixies, Jennie, Lorde and many others. A huge festival, with 5 stages and 100 thousand people a day, active from 6pm to 2am.
And since tickets, as always, are about to sell out, we choose an artist each day not to be missed, including headliners and non-headliners, trying to show you the various colors of a rather interesting billboard. The last tickets are available here.

Foo Fighters
Wednesday 8 July
It is the first tour of Dave Grohl's band after the dismissal of Josh Freese who was replaced by Ilan Rubin on drums. It will also be the return to Spain of the band, which hadn't been through these parts since 2017 (as well as Italy). It's an opportunity to hear not only a new lineup, but also the new album Your Favorite Toy. For fans of Grohl and his companions, a golden opportunity.

Jenny
Thursday 9 July
Since we're talking about a rock-oriented festival, why not focus entirely on the international k-pop of Jennie from Blackpink? Of the Korean superteam, she is certainly the baddiegiven his attitude also consecrated by his participation in the TV series The Idol by The Weekend. Something (very) different in a billboard full of distortions and amplifiers.

Polo & Pan
Friday 10 July
Maybe the name Polo & Pan doesn't mean much to most people, but if you've done at least one DJ set on the beach in the last ten years, we assure you that you've danced to them. In fact there is nothing that screams summer like the beats of the French duo, called here to give a fresh alternative to the intensity of the band on the main stage.

David Byrne
Saturday 11 July
There are no shows like David Byrne's. For ideas, choreographies, messages, positivity. And, ultimately, David Byrne is also one of a kind as an artist. We saw it in Milan and loved it (review here). The opportunity to see him live again, this time outdoors, is too tempting.
