Two concerts missed in two days atVinovo racecoursejust outside Turin. After the cancellation of the live show of Francesco Gabbani scheduled for August 27that of has also been cancelled Edoardo Bennato scheduled for the following day, on August 28th. Same location, same organizing company, same motivation.
In both cases, as stated in the official communications, the stop is due to “organizational reasons not attributable to the artist or his team”, with the company that organizes the events not able to guarantee the conditions necessary for the correct performance of the concerts.
Vinovo, Gabbani and Bennato concerts cancelled
The first announcement arrived on July 6th from the channels of Francesco Gabbani and his label Artist First. The concert of August 27 at the Vinovo Hippodrome, a stop on the artist's summer tour produced by A1 Concertswas canceled despite being close to selling out.
A few days later the same fate befell Edoardo Bennato. The concert of August 28thalso in Vinovo, was part of the tour When I grow upthe tour that celebrates the Neapolitan singer-songwriter's eightieth birthday. Here too the communication speaks of organizational reasons not attributable to the artist, with the organizing company not currently being able to ensure the event takes place.
How refunds work
For those who had already purchased the concert ticket Gabbanirefund is available on TicketOne and must be requested by September 15, 2026according to the methods indicated by the platform. For the concert of Bennato similar methods apply, which will be communicated through the official sales channels.
At the moment, for neither of the two dates a recovery in another location or on another date has been announced.
The crux of the organization of major events
The two cancellations come in a summer in which the issue of concert organization is at the center of the debate. The preventive cancellation of two almost sold out evenings, by choice of the organizers and not the artists, speaks of a sector in which the logistical and authorization part weighs more and more.
In the case of Gabbani and Bennato the decision was made in advance of the dates, so as not to arrive unprepared so close to the event. A prudence which, although it penalizes the public, avoids management problems which in other cases only arose during the concert in progress.
For both artists, however, the rest of the summer calendar continues regularly. The tour of Gabbaniwhich started on June 12th, continues with the other scheduled stops, as well as that of Bennato.
