The new album by Negramaro, Free Loverepresents much more than a collection of songs: it is a manifesto of freedom and love, an invitation to overcome one's limits and embrace diversity.
Available from November 22nd on digital, CD and vinyl, the album contains twelve tracks, enriched by collaborations with some of the best-known names in Italian and international music: Aiello, Malika Ayane, Elisa, Niccolò Fabi, Tiziano Ferro, Fabri Fibra, Jovanotti, JJ Julius Son
Recorded in the historians Hansa Studios of Berlin, symbol of a musical legacy that has seen artists such as David Bowie and U2 as protagonists, Free Love ventures into a new sound territory, while maintaining the band's identity intact.
Julian Sangiorgivoice and creative mind of the group, explains:
“We wanted to push the boundaries of our style, leaving room for the energy and freshness that the collaborations brought. Working with such different artists was like meeting parts of ourselves that we didn't yet know.”
The concept of Free Love: love, respect and responsibility
The title of the album, Free Loveis not limited to a romantic appeal, but extends to a social and cultural reflection. During the press conference, Sangiorgi he explained that the concept of “free love” implies personal freedom and responsibility: “Freedom is not anarchy, but an act of respect. Free Love it talks about loving without prejudice, about accepting others for who they are, and about overcoming barriers that we often impose on ourselves. With JJ Julius Sonthe title track has become an explosive celebration of energy and vitality. Repeat Free Love it was like a mantra, a cry of shared freedom”
This vision also finds expression in the album cover, which hosts the work Narcissus of the sculptor Iago. The image, which depicts a man and a woman in mirror symmetry, symbolizes the balance between opposites and the universality of feelings. The red logo of Free Lovecreated by the collective Lrsasuperimposed on the work, recalls the urgency of a message of inclusiveness and respect. PUT ON THE ALBUM COVER
“To sculpt something, you must first break it”-he commented Iago. A metaphor that fits with the themes of the album, where mistakes and falls become part of the process of personal and artistic growth.
Time, freedom and connection with the public
A central theme that emerged from the press conference is time. The choice to postpone the release of the album, to present it directly live, reflects the desire to maintain an authentic dialogue with the public. “Each album is a photograph of a moment lived, and we wanted the public to be part of this snapshot – he explains Julian – Music, for us, has always been an opportunity to connect with people, to share dreams and hopes”.
THE Negramaro they don't hide their desire to address complex issues through music. From overcoming adversity to the right to love without conditions, the album is an invitation to live with courage and to seek beauty even in difficulties.
Songs like Full Moon And Let's start everything again encourage us to abandon fears, while Martians And Diamonds they celebrate the ability to reinvent oneself. Negramaro's journey, which began twenty years ago, continues with the same energy and authenticity that made them one of the most important bands on the Italian music scene but we add the awareness of adulthood that comes across clearly and genuinely in this album.

The tour: negramaro palasport 2025
From September 2025 the band will return to perform in sports halls with a new tour that will touch all the main Italian cities. NEGRAMARO PALASPORT 2025produced by Friends and Partnersit will also be the opportunity to listen to Free Love's songs live for the first time.
