«Next year, number 3 Savile Row will open its doors to the public for the first time. And you are invited to take a look.”
The Beatles launched their first fan experience official. It's called The Beatles at 3 Savile Row and will open in 2027 in the place that perhaps more than any other identifies their presence in London: the original headquarters of Apple Corps, where the four recorded Let It Be and held their legendary concert on the roof terrace in 1969.
The paid visit will allow Beatles fans to visit seven floors with previously unreleased materials from the Apple Corps archives, temporary exhibitions, the famous roof terrace, the recording studio that was rebuilt in the basement and of course a shop.
“It was a trip to go back to Savile Row recently and have a look around,” said Paul McCartney. «Those walls hold so many special memories, not to mention the roof. The team has come up with some amazing designs and I can't wait for people to see them when they're ready.”
Ringo Starr's comment: «Wow, it's like coming home».
