The Shawn Levy-Directed Film Will Place Five Years After the Events of 2019's The Rise of Skywalker
Ryan Gosling is set to Lead a New Star Wars Movies, titled Star Wars: Starfighterwith production set to Begin This Fall. Shawn Levy, Who recently Directed Deadpool & WolverineWill Direct The Project, Which Will Release in Theaters on May 28, 2027.
The AnnoTonment was made by Lucasfilm's President Kathleen Kennedy and Chief Creative Officer Dave Filoni at the Annual Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo. According to a press release, The New Installment in The Franchise Will Take Place Approximateloy Five Years After the Events of 2019's Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker and is described as an “Entirely New Adventure” featuring “All-New Characters Set in a period of time that has not Been Explored on Screen Yet.”
