“Clearly he doesn't want to do concerts with us.” Without so many laps of words and with bitterness in the mouth, Faith's drummer No More Muor Mike Bordin explained that the band has never returned to recover the 75 dates of the 2021 reunion tour by the will of Mike Patton.
The tour, initially set for 2020, had been postponed due to the pandemic. Once the health emergency has been overcome, the Faith no more had found themselves forced to definitively erase the tour, officially for reasons related to the mental health of Patton, to whom Agoraphobia had been diagnosed. But while the fans awaited news, Patton has returned to perform live with his other project, Mr. Bungle.
“We decided to support him, all together, although knowing that canceling 75 concerts would have overwhelmed us with a shitstorm,” says Bordin. «But nobody wanted to force him to do something for which he didn't feel ready. There was no discussion. “
Then something changed. «He went from not feeling ready to don't want to do them, those concerts. And this is an important difference », Bordin underlines, with a tip of bitterness.
And the dialogue between the members? Reduced to a minimum. “There was not much communication on this. It doesn't make me feel good, and to be honest it hurts me. But it is an internal question. Now we are in a strange situation, it is difficult to understand what is going on. I am receiving information other than various people … and I am in the band ».
