Jacopo Martini announced the release of his first self-titled album. Jacopo Martini available from May 22nd for Zefiro Records / Island Records – Universal Music Italiaafter the singles I hate it, I will change (the full moon) And An island thatwhich in recent months have begun to define his style between songwriting and soul arrangements.
The choice of the title is not random: the album marks a more direct and personal transition compared to the singer-songwriter's first works. Many of the songs were initially born at home, with Jacopo Martini also involved in the recording of several instruments, before the final co-production together with Ugo Bongianni And Axel Pani.

References to Italian songwriting and international influences coexist in the album. The sounds alternate with more soulful moments, retro arrangements and intimate writing, with references ranging from Gino Paoli to Van Morrisonpassing through Randy Newman And Devendra Banhart.
The project focuses above all on writing and the construction of images. The singles released so far had already shown two different sides of the artist: the more ironic one of I hate it and the most melancholic and nocturnal one of I will change (the full moon).

They also find space in the finale Everything OKbuilt on soulful arrangements and more sarcastic lyrics, and The two of us (cuddles)dedicated to the daily dimension of a relationship.
