“Untitled (1—8)” by the new trio formed by Giuseppe Ielasi, Fabio Perletta and Giulia Bruno inaugurates not only an artistic synergy, but also and above all represents the starting point of fold/interval. An audiovisual platform of which the authors of the work themselves are supporters. The interpenetration between sound and image, the extreme editorial care in giving it a complete shape are the cornerstones of the project.

Following a consolidated practice, Ielasi and Perletta establish a dialogue made of essential gestures, spaces of reverberation, changing dynamics. Reduction is the direction, accuracy in the choice of elements to relate to the modality. The guitar phrasings fall cleanly, the electronics offer a subdued yet persistent substrate. The sounds collide, bounce, find different joints without ever generating an obvious listening environment, preferring the tension of the unexpected.
The wait, the pause is the further agent, the space necessary to give breathing space to the concatenation of the individual nuclei. It is a plot that suggests without describing, it offers itself as a suggestion without a closed narrative construct, an attitude perfectly aligned with Bruno's photographic work. The result is eight deeply tactile synaesthetic rooms, sensorial structures to be inhabited by relying on the suggestive power of deep listening.
