Carmen Consoli will be the protagonist of the acoustic concert at sunset scheduled for Friday 7 August 2026 at 6.00 pm at the Europa Natural Park, in the scenery of the Monticchio Lakes. The event represents the only date in Basilicata of the Sicilian singer-songwriter's new tour, built on a few selected stages across Italy, each inspired by a theme linked to the place that hosts it.
For the Monticchio stage the title chosen is “The colors of water”, a reference to the natural context of the Vulture volcanic lakes. The theme will be introduced by a monologue by Mariangela Caporale, while the opening will be entrusted to the singer-songwriter Erica Mou.

«There are voices capable of communicating with the spirit of places, and that of Carmen Consoli is undoubtedly one of these», underlines Vincenzo Paolino, artistic director of the festival and founder of Vulcanica. «On August 7, at the Monticchio Lakes, music will not simply be hosted by nature, but will merge with it. With the XXVII edition of Vulcanica we wanted to seek authentic and profound beauty. Consoli's concert, together with the grace of Erica Mou and the words of Mariangela Caporale, will be an intimate and powerful experience at the same time, a memory that will remain imprinted over time for anyone who decides to share this special evening with us.»
