In my DMs is the song with which, after winning Sanremo 2025 area, Blind, El Ma & Soniko will compete in the section New Proposals of 76th Sanremo Festivalscheduled for February 24-28, 2026.
“The song was born spontaneously, from the desire to talk about how today emotions often pass through a screen even before reality. It is a song that talks about attraction, anticipation and connection, but does so lightly and with an energy that represents us.
Arriving at Sanremo Giovani, after winning Area Sanremo, is a huge achievement for us: it means bringing a new and different proposal to one of the most important stages in Europe”.
BLIND, EL MA & SONIKO PRESENT “IN MY DMs”
Energetic and modern pop-dance song, which tells of a flirtation in the age of social media, In my DMs is accompanied by a video clip that combines story and performance, transforming music into an active part of the narrative.
In fact, the video stages the kidnapping of Blind and El Maseized without the knowledge of Sonikowho finds himself involved in a surreal treasure hunt.
Following a series of clues and messages, which refer to the DMs evoked by the title, the DJ thus crosses the city, and then reaches a hidden garage, where Blind and El Ma they are forced to perform in an exclusive live show for a mysterious local boss, played by the well-known influencer Nevio Lo Stiratoaccompanied by two twin bodyguards and his inseparable poodle Roger.
And so the atmosphere, initially full of tension, becomes increasingly ironic and grotesque, so much so that in the end even the boss lets himself be carried away by the rhythm, converting the kidnapping into a collective party, which perfectly reflects the positive energy of the song.
NEW SANREMO 2026 PROPOSALS: “IN MY DMs”, THE INTERVIEW WITH BLIND, EL MA & SONIKO
Looking forward to participating in the Sanremo Festival 2026in the section New Proposals, Blind, El Ma & Soniko they retraced their ad journey with us Sanremo 2025 areatelling us what pushed them to create this new formation, which sees them perform as a trio.
“You said it right. We are a trio, not a band. In fact, each of us has our own solo project. We only joined together for the Festival. Once the curtain has fallen on Sanremo 2026, we will resume our paths”.
In the meantime, if we will listen on the Ariston stage In my DMs it is also thanks to Achille Lauro or, at least, his Unconscious Young PeopleThat Soniko – fresh from years of musical hiatus – he listened for months on the radio until he was convinced that it was worth trying to fight to win a pass for Ariston.
