The Bad Bunny concert interrupted last night at the SNAI La Maura Hippodrome in Milan due to bad weather will not be recovered. After having evacuated the area for safety due to the storm and hail that hit the city, Live Nation announced that the show has been definitively canceled and will not be rescheduled.
“Following careful evaluation and having made every effort to reschedule the event, we regret to inform ticket holders that the concert has been canceled and will not be rescheduled,” reads the note released by the organizers.
Live Nation also confirmed that all ticket holders will receive a full refund, including ticket price and pre-sale fees. Further details on the methods and timing of refunds will be communicated in the coming days. “The safety of all those present is always our top priority”, concludes the statement, thanking the public “for the patience, understanding and collaboration shown during the evacuation” and apologizing for the inconvenience caused.
The concert had been going for about half an hour when Bad Bunny also performed Hello beautifulwelcomed by the audience's chorus. But shortly afterwards the bad weather forced the organizers to interrupt the show: at first the spectators were asked to remain in their respective areas waiting for the disturbance to pass, but with the worsening of the weather conditions the evacuation of the SNAI La Maura Hippodrome was ordered.
According to reports from the Fire Brigade, several spectators were injured after being hit on the head by large hailstones and were rescued by 118 personnel.
