Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts mother accused of strangling her three young children to death in 2023, is set to stand trial this week. Jury selection for the murder trial began Monday in Plymouth County Superior Court. Clancy has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection with the deaths of her three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan — in January 2023, according to the Associated Press. A judge in California has temporarily halted Paramount's $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery after a group of states claimed the merger violated antitrust rules. California federal judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín issued the temporary restraining order Monday, just days before Paramount was expected to close the deal.
