Iran’s Supreme Court has overturned the death sentence of rapper Toomaj Salehi, his lawyer has said. The rapper was sentenced in April on the capital offence of “corruption on earth” after making statements in support of anti-government protests in 2022. Glastonbury organisers have announced that this year’s edition of the festival will open with a massive drone show. Taking to the official Glastonbury X/Twitter page, organisers shared a tweet that read: “A drone show will open Glastonbury 2024 at 10.30pm on Wednesday June 26th, ahead of the traditional fireworks.
