With the European tour approaching which will also pass through Italy (a single date on June 13th for the 2026 edition of the Ferrara Summer Festival), A Perfect Circle have released a new single. After “Kindred”, released two years ago and part of the project dedicated to the 60th birthday of Maynard James Keenan, Billy Howerdel's band today releases Starless (with the return of Josh Freese on drums). Here is the video below.
The band led by Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel has been missing from European stages since 2018, the year of the publication of Eat the Elephant, their fourth and to date last studio work. An album which, among more elegiac and reflective tones, had marked the return of the group after a long break and accompanied a tour which also touched Italy with three stops: Villafranca di Verona, Rome and Milan.
After years of silence, A Perfect Circle returned to the stage between 2024 and early 2025 with a series of concerts in the United States, documented in the live album “Sessanta Live”, recorded in its entirety at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater in Phoenix.
The new European tour therefore seems to project the band towards a renewed chapter in their artistic parable, a rare opportunity to rediscover live the restless and magnetic alchemy of one of the most intense projects in the Keenan galaxy.
