The Concertone is a cultural project of the The Night of the Taranta Foundation and is supported by the Puglia Region and Pugliapromozione in collaboration with the Union of Municipalities of Grecìa salentina and the Diego Carpitella Institute.

The traveling festival of The Night of the Taranta takes place from 3 to 22 August 2024.
- August 3rd – Corigliano d’Otranto
The city where the traveling festival will start. At 7:00 pm, starting from the mezzanine of the Castello Volante, there will be La Taranta in Parata “The ways of the land of Remorse”. Afterwards, the highly anticipated Pizzica Workshop with the dancers of the Notte della Taranta dance troupe.

Followed by: Gli Sciacuddhuzzi and the Balconata with the Taranta dance troupe will play from Piazza Osanna to Piazza Cattedrale. - August 17 – Galatina In Piazza Dante Alighieri there will be a concert. Before, at 8:00 pm, in the former convent of the Poor Clares the volume “Il colpo di sole e altri scritti sul Salento” by Annabella Rossi will be presented.

the big concert
The Night of the Tarantathe largest festival in Italy and one of the most significant events on popular culture in Europe, specifically dedicated to the rediscovery and valorization of traditional Salento music, the pizzica, and its fusion with other musical languages, from world music to rock, from jazz to symphonic music, will take place on August 24th in Melpignano and will also be broadcast live on Rai 3 starting at 9.20 pm (narrator Ema Stockholm).
They will go on stage accompanied by the Orchestra Popolare della Notte della Taranta, about thirty popular music musicians from all over Salento, Geographer, Angelina Mango, Gaia and the revelation of SpotifyRadar, You are.
