From 20 to 30 August 2026, Parco Le Stanze will once again be transformed into the most awaited music village in the province of Bergamo. Free entry, four thematic areas, international headliners and a heart that has been beating for 34 years: 200 volunteers, no tickets, lots of solidarity.
Trescore Balneario (BG) – The event that has marked August in Val Cavallina since 1993 returns on time with the summer: the Bum Bum Festival reaches the finish line of its 34th edition, bringing 11 nights of entirely free concerts to Parco Le Stanze, from 20 to 30 August 2026.
What began as a beer festival in a small sports field is today one of the largest free-entry musical events in Northern Italy, capable of attracting over 600 artists on stage and more than one and a half million attendees in 34 years of history. A journey that has never changed its most authentic nature: no tickets, no premium zones, no hidden costs. Just music, good food and the desire to be together.
A billboard that crosses all genres
The 2026 edition confirms the formula that has made Bum Bum unique in the panorama of Italian festivals: every evening a different genre, a different audience, the same energy. We start on Thursday 20 August with the 360° Urban Night and the rap of Leon Faun, to continue with the folk-rock of Bandabardò, the metal of Carcass for Metal for Emergency, the dance of Albertino, the rap of Shade and Nitro, the punk rock of Punkreas and the grand finale in a freestyle and dance party key. There is no shortage of evenings dedicated to the mountains, swing folk and singer-songwriters such as Andrea Cerrato or 'humanitarian' musicians such as Pietro Morello. Eleven evenings, eleven souls, a single common thread: live music, free and for everyone.

The real protagonist: volunteering
Behind every stage, every dish served, every craft beer poured, there are them: around 200 volunteers who, for eleven consecutive days, put their time, energy and passion at the service of an event that has never had a profit motive. This is the distinctive feature of the Bum Bum Festival, which is self-financed through internal catering, merchandising and the support of sponsors who share its values, and which over the years has made charity one of its reasons for being.
A model that has survived four decades unscathed, a whirlwind that in 2004 destroyed the stage after the festival had already begun (rebuilt in two days), the Covid emergency that in 2020 forced the organization to reinvent itself online, until the triumphant return in 2022 with record crowds. Each time, the same team of volunteers rolled up their sleeves to ensure that the appointment with summer never missed.
What to find at Parco Le Stanze
In addition to music, the festival offers every evening from 7pm a restaurant area with typical Bergamo cuisine, gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan options, and a brewery offering 0km craft beers from the OTUS brewery, including non-alcoholic alternatives. Doors open at 7pm, concerts begin at 9pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays they open earlier at 5pm and 12pm respectively, with the park also hosting sporting activities on Sport Sunday.
According to municipal organisation, it is forbidden to bring glass bottles into the area.
