Bob Dylan will perform in Italy in November not in theaters and squares, but in sports halls. The musician has in fact announced three dates in our country: November 2nd at the Unipol Dome in Milan, November 5th at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, November 7th at the Unipol Arena in Bologna.
General sales will begin at 11am on Wednesday 22 July on Ticketone, with a Virgin Radio pre-sale from 11am on Monday 20 July.
As is known, Dylan doesn't want phones, video cameras and recording devices in the room. On the three Italian dates, as has already happened in the past, cell phones will be closed in Yondr cases that the spectators will bring with them. If they need to use the phone, they can go to a dedicated area where the cases will be open.
«Having experimented with this phone-free mode on recent tours, we believe it creates a better experience for everyone in attendance,” reads the concert launch release. “Our eyes open a little wider and our senses are slightly sharper when we lose the technological crutch we've become accustomed to. And yes, it is mandatory and non-negotiable.”
