Torment returns with a new album, available in digital stores from July 3, 2026 For Oyster Music / Island Records. Antidote – this is the title – arrives after a month of previews, during which the artist released four unreleased songs to accompany the public towards the release of the album.
Antidote marks the recording return of the Milanese rapper, singer and producer after a year that brought him back to the center of attention thanks to his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2025 with the song My word together with Shablo, Gué And Joshua.
“Antidote”: seven songs and numerous collaborations
The new album by Torment collects seven tracks that confirm the link with hip hop, R&B and black music, languages that the artist has contributed to spreading in Italy since the nineties with Undertone.
Next to him, there is an exceptional group of friends. The album brings together artists belonging to different generations. There is a veteran like Noyz Narcos. There are protagonists of the contemporary scene such as Hernia, Rkomi, Junior K, Eiemgei And Gaia. And again, there are young artists now much loved like Sayf And Promise. Finally, there are exponents of Italian Afrobeats such as Leslie Sackey And WADO.
The four singles that anticipated the album's release
The path to Antidote began during the month of June with the release of four songs.
The first piece extracted was Poisonwhich proposes a meeting between the flow of Torment and rock-style guitars. He then followed up Walk awaycreated together with Hernia, Leslie Sackey And WADOwhich combines contemporary soul sounds and Afrobeats influences.
With Cold as hellin collaboration with Rkomithe rapper moves between rap and electro-pop, while Self Controlwith Noyz Narcos And Junior Kbrings the sound back to more classic hip hop atmospheres.
Three unreleased songs complete the tracklist of “Antidote”
In addition to the singles already released, the album is completed with three new songs.
Another lietogether with Gaia, Promise and Eiemgeilooks at international R&B productions. Sofiawith Sayfrecalls the sounds of the American west coast, while Certain things closes the album with funk influences and a sunnier tone.

Over thirty years of career between Undertone and solo projects
Torment he is considered one of the pioneers of Italian hip hop. With i Undertone he contributed to bringing rap and R&B to the mainstream market, while as a soloist he alternated successful productions with works closer to the underground, also through the project Yoshi.
In recent years he has published his autobiography Rapcyclopedia; conceived and conducted the Under Effect Podcast; and in 2025 he returned to the stage of Sanremo Festival as a regular guest of Shablo with the song My wordperformed together with Gué And Joshua. Antidote now represents his new recording chapter, built by maintaining a dialogue between the tradition of Italian hip hop and the sounds of the current scene.
